Like the last post, this isn’t my personal job. I did it for another installation company that I work for when I don’t have my own jobs. I install floors everyday, but just getting started on my own I only have so many clients with so many floors…. Luckily, I know someone who has some amazing contacts and trusts me to learn and figure things like this out, for the day when I have my own clients who wish these types of floors, I’ll already have the experience… it was difficult, and I snapped at people while doing it, and it stressed me out, and I’m very grateful to have had the experience

A friend of mine had a water line to his fridge bust while he was away that unfortunately flooded his house.
I am so grateful he trusted me with installing his new luxury vinyl plank flooring. With some help from a few of his employees we were able to knock this out for him in less than 3 days!!! Without him having to remove his furniture.
Sometimes life happens, I’d like to make those hiccups pass a little easier for people. So very grateful for this project.

Here’s the problem I have the big box flooring stores…. I got to this job, and the customer had bought a bamboo flooring, which is not my favorite to glue down to slab in Louisiana…and a very good glue, however no one told him, if you’re going to glue this to the slab, you need to use a very strong moisture barrier first.
This is why I caution my friends not to prep your subfloor alone. Installing the flooring is pretty easy, it’s the preparation that people make mistakes on. If you have questions about what’s best for your particular situation, give me a call.
