Running a newly established colony of bees out of a brick column, uptown New Orleans.

This should be a good one, been there a couples of years at least. Top of the wall is 14’ up, stay tuned.

17’6” up working above & behind your head isn’t particularly my idea of a fun removal but at least the bees were very gentle! 😎

Removed these sweet gals from a column the other day, right before the skies opened up, gotta love gentle bees!

Lots of damage from a previous termite infestation.

A removal I did today in New Orleans. The homeowner was very happy I was able to cut a nice clean rectangle out of the exterior stucco to get to the thicker than normal band board.

Nice, gentle bees, plump queen.

In case you’re wondering, after I put the band board back, I put the stucco piece back in place, temporarily secured with gorilla tape (stuff is pretty awesome, fixed my smoker with it the other day).
