🏡🔑 CLOSED! A new Florida home—and a full-circle moment! ❤️

520 Buckingham Ave in Melbourne is officially my buyers’ new home, and this closing has such a special story!

I met these buyers through a past client whose family I’ve had the pleasure of helping before. After years in New York, they were ready to come home to Melbourne to retire, enjoy warmer weather, and be closer to family. ☀️🌴

While they were in town, we spent a couple of days house hunting, but nothing quite felt like “the one.” Then, standing in the kitchen at another showing, we checked what was new or back on the market… and there it was! “I’m waiting for the market to get better.”
I hear this ALL the time.

And I completely understand why. Home prices are higher, interest rates aren’t what they were a few years ago, and buying a home is a BIG decision.

But here’s the thing… there really is no such thing as a “perfect” real estate market.

Ten years ago, buyers thought homes were too expensive then too. Some waited for prices to come down. Others bought what they could comfortably afford, started building equity, and today many of those homeowners are sitting on a completely different financial picture.

Does that mean you should run out and buy a house just because prices might continue to go up? NO!
