We’re Kevin and Kenny, brothers and owners of Top Shelf Heating & Cooling, a locally owned HVAC company serving Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle, and the Treasure Valley.
But none of this started with a perfect plan.
It started with two brothers working in the HVAC industry, learning the trade, and seeing how differently customers could be treated depending on which company answered the phone.
We saw homeowners dealing with broken furnaces in the middle of winter.
Families sitting in 90-degree homes waiting for AC repairs.
Business owners trying to keep employees and customers comfortable.
And too often, we saw people being pushed toward the most expensive option instead of the solution that actually made sense.
That never sat right with us.
We believed HVAC service could be more honest, more personal, and more focused on helping the customer than hitting a sales number.
So we built something of our own.
No outside investors.
No corporate pressure.
Just two brothers committed to doing quality work and treating Treasure Valley homeowners the way we would want our own families treated.
In the beginning, we handled everything.
Service calls.
Repairs.
Installations.
Late nights.
Emergency calls when someone’s heat stopped working or their AC gave out during an Idaho summer.
There were long days and plenty of lessons, but we kept showing up.
We built relationships with customers, grew our team, improved our systems, and stayed committed to one simple idea:
Do what is right for the customer.
Today, Top Shelf Heating & Cooling serves homeowners and businesses across the Treasure Valley with heating, cooling, water heater, and 24/7 emergency services.
But what means the most to us is hearing that a customer felt respected.
That we explained the problem clearly.
That we repaired a system another company wanted to replace.
That someone knew we were recommending what was best for their home and budget, not what made us the most money.
That is why we started Top Shelf.
We’re proud to be brothers.
Proud to be locally owned.
And proud to serve the Treasure Valley
