A big thank you to The Daily Memphian for taking the time to visit Queens Nursery and share a little of the story behind what we’re growing here in Memphis.

What started as a small backyard nursery has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. There’s still a long way to go, plenty of plants to grow, and a whole lot more to figure out, but it’s been pretty remarkable to watch this little operation take on a life of its own.

I’m grateful to everyone who has bought a plant, stopped by the market, shared a post, offered advice, or simply encouraged me along the way. Every bit of it helps keep this thing moving

There are some big things on the horizon for Queens Nursery. I can’t say too much just yet, but stay tuned.

Thank you again to The Daily Memphian for shining a little light on this humble nursery and the work happening here.

Read the full story in The Daily Memphian and we’ll put the link in our bio.

HERE YE, HERE YE!

The season turns, the air grows cool, and the gardens call once more!

This Saturday, Queens Nursery shall return to the Cooper-Young Farmers Market, from the hour of 8 o’clock until noon, in the First Congo Church parking lot.

And what better hour to plant than autumn? The summer heat has passed, the earth still holds its warmth, and the plants may settle their roots before winter comes knocking. Come now, plant well, and let spring find your garden already prepared.
