Sometimes I cave in and grow "ornamentals" which are often great sources of food for "wildlife", here, meaning "rabid ducks." A collection of highly experimental recipes, smoothies, milkshakes, and other things, often starring the super leaves of Matcha. Haiku for food lovers.

It turns out that if you tuck a lonely chick into a t-shirt and cover them up, it mimics them cuddling under a mama hen and they stop all that ridiculous chirping and go the hell to sleep!!

Patches aka Patchouli was rejected by the mama hen and I've been using this bucket-style purse for nap time and to carry her to and fro as I go to work and run errands.

Hubie is the runt of the hatch and was being eaten by mites.

Lonely and sad, they wanted companionship and safety...

And to eat boiled egg yolks and play in the soil. 🧡🧡

Yall have been keeping me up at night and waking me up early but to see you happy and blooming warms my cold black heart. 🤭🤭🤭

When the mama chicken rejects a chick, sometimes you gotta step in with those big ole milkers to keep chicky chick warm and cuddly.

Now let me go make a ham sandwich while chicky chick gets settled in.

Since it decided to become cold in April, I decided to bring in my little Easter egger chicken bird so she can continue Nesting on her eggs in comfort. 🥰🥰🥰
