Well, I’ve got a life update. About a month and a half ago, I got offered a job in Bozeman, Montana. Today is the day that relocation officially starts.

So many mixed emotions as we part ways with West Tennessee. Sad as we step away from friends and family, but excited as we have an opportunity for a new chapter. God is gracious and kind and has his hands all over this new chapter!

It truly is crazy how when you are legitimately prayerful about what Christ has called you too, that He makes it abundantly clear, not just on where you are supposed to be, but when that is to take place. Lots of “no’s and not yet’s” throughout this process.

As I was headed west this evening, that Kansas sunset reminded me that we serve a wonderful and perfect savior, who’s worthy of our worship and our life, even when it doesn’t make sense or it’s not comfortable.

Thank you all for helping me with my business! I know for a fact that Callie Rose Hodge was thankful that we could pay our bills. It was a pleasure getting to know each of you as I was able to accomplish soooooo many projects and get to know so many cool people through 5 years of handyman work!

A ton of people have asked me about who to call next. As a few things develop I’ll be happy to point you in the direction of others that do this type of work. Send me a text if you need someone sooner rather than later.

I had the opportunity to update the back porch on this home a little over 3 years ago, as well as tackling some small projects for the owners along the way.

Progress from today. Started at 8:30 and just got done. Needs more dirt! I know one thing, I need a skid steer of my own! No telling how much trouble I would get into with one of those things.

Monster retaining wall continued. Dead men in, french drain complete, dirt work in progress! My skid-steer skills are in need of some upgrade, but the best way I know to fix that is practice!

Got some built-in’s knocked out today! The owner had me tear out some old ones and build a new more functional set. Plenty of new storage for shoes, clothes, bags, brooms, etc. These really turned out great and were a ton of fun building, too.

Paint job complete! This room was a dark brown, had chair rail and several holes in the wall. After chair rail was removed, I had to patch it all the way around the room so we could get a nice smooth finish. Cool new look!
