🎥 Wondering what prefab countertops actually look like once installed? Let’s break it down 👇These beauties are pre-fabricated stone slabs that come in predetermined sizes (typically 25.5” deep for kitchens, 22” for vanities) — with finished front and side edges already built in. That means less fabrication time, quicker turnarounds, and major 💸 savings on cost.But don’t let the term “prefab” fool you — you still need a skilled fabricator to install them correctly. Why?✅ They sit on a plywood subdeck for support✅ Proper leveling and seams still matter✅ Cutouts for sinks, cooktops, etc. aren’t “one-size-fits-all”💡 Fun Fact: Prefab countertops became popular during the early 2000s housing boom as a way to offer real stone at scale — especially for builders trying to stretch budgets without compromising the “wow factor.”And guess what?
