The Hidden Trap with Cheap Tile Cheap tile, get what you pay for. There are many types of tile and all different price ranges for tile. Generally the more you pay for a tile the better the quality that is not to say that some expensive tiles are not junk. I am not referring to closeouts, or overstocks, or tiles that would normally have cost more, I am referring to tiles that are manufactured with low quality control and few standards. I am not saying not to buy these tiles; I am only saying that you get what you pay for. Do not expect to have the same results as you would get with a quality tile. Expect to have uneven grout lines, miss aligned corners and an inferior install over all. This is not a discounted tile, or a closeout, this is a tile manufactured to be sold cheap. If that is what you want and expect for the purpose that you are using the cheap tile, then that is fine.
