I know by now that me plus white shirts are not a good combo because I always get them stained the second I wear them 😂 but I couldn’t resist with this new Carhartt outfit I picked up from Picky Picky Picky. I just love this flower embroidery 💐

Of course I get it and me dirty the first day I wear it!!

6 months into starting my woman-owned handyperson business, or as I like to say, being a “handyma’am”, and I have learned SO much! What a journey it has been. ☺️🛠️

I’m so grateful for my family and friends for all their love, support, and belief in me. I truly wouldn’t be able to do it without them!

I love this work, I love helping people, and I’m excited to keep sharing more with you all as my business continues to develop and grow.

This dryer vent had come apart underneath the house in not one, but two spots… so under I went! Got everything reconnected and secured, and made my way back to daylight. ☀️🤗

Putting my Dovetail Workwear overalls and Ariat Work boots to work! I love being able to find workwear made for women right here in Humboldt at Picky Picky Picky ! 🤎🛠️

Working 9 to 5… (or whatever hours the job calls for 😊) And of course, had to have Dolly on the soundtrack. ✨

One of my favorite parts of Humboldt Helper is getting to spend time with so many wonderful dogs, each with their own personality, routine, and favorite adventures. 🐾

Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or pet sitting while their people are away, I personalize care based on their needs and do my best to make sure every pup feels safe, cared for, and has a good time. ❤️

Feeling grateful for all of my furry friends this summer. ☀️ 🐶

Building a business with my own two hands has been one of the most rewarding and exciting things I’ve ever done. Grateful for every person who trusts me with their projects and supports me on this journey 🔨✨

I love problem-solving and helping people in my community. I’ve been helping friends and family with projects like these for years, and I’m excited to finally turn those skills into something bigger. This journey has been empowering, eye-opening, and inspiring, and I hope that being a woman in the trades encourages other women to step outside their comfort zones and try new things.
