From our home base in Mayer all the way up to Flagstaff. 🏔️

Swipe through this recent project in Flagstaff. Mountain weather is tough on a home, so every detail here was built to hold up to snow, freeze-thaw, and that high-country sun.

We serve Prescott, Prescott Valley, Mayer, the Verde Valley, Flagstaff, and beyond.

Which photo is your favorite? Tell us 1–7 in the comments.

3 mistakes we see homeowners make all the time (and what they end up costing). 👀

Watch to the end. #3 is the one that hurts the most.

Save this so you have it before your next project, and send it to the friend who's about to start one.

Got a project question? Drop it in the comments. Our crew answers every one.

Veterans: the discipline, teamwork, and "get it done" mindset you built in uniform? That's exactly what this trade runs on.

Vets 1st was built to give veterans a real career path in construction, with training in new skills and room to grow. Meet Tanner, one of our crew.

We're looking for:
🔨 General laborers (no experience needed)
🎨 Painters
🪵 Carpenters
🌿 Landscapers
🔧 Handyman / repair specialists
📋 Project managers

You don't have to be a veteran to apply. Just bring a strong work ethic.

"We don't just aim to give you something you can live with. We want to build something you'll love." – Tom Kincaid

Tom is a third-generation master mason and our superintendent, with 25+ years in construction. Some of his work you may have walked past: the Elks Theater restoration and the Hassayampa Inn monument sign, right here in Prescott.

He's been with Vets 1st almost from day one, when the whole operation was Steve, an old mower, and a work truck.

Our standard hasn't changed since: high-quality work, a clean job site, and a fair price.

Swipe to see this Prescott exterior come together. ➡️

Heads up for anyone up here planning a repaint: fall is your last good window. Most exterior paints need steady temps around 50°F or warmer to cure right, and Prescott nights start dropping into the 30s soon.

What goes into a finish that lasts:
• Real prep (washing, scraping, caulking, priming)
• Quality, weather-resistant paint made for Arizona sun
• A crew that leaves the site cleaner than they found it

Thinking about a fresh exterior before winter? Comment "PAINT" and we'll reach out, or request a quote at vets1staz.com.
