WOW! What a year 2024 has been!

We had the opportunity to invest in and expand our equipment—check out the new skytrack, trailer, and truck for McDowell Construction! This wouldn’t be possible without the Lord directing us in our business, and providing amazing customers. We have loved bringing your vision to life on so many remodels and new builds this year, and we have lots of exciting jobs lined up to finish 2024 strong!

Out with the old and in with the new 🤩

This project was located on Lake Mattoon—we removed all paneling, hung drywall, finished, primed, and painted the drywall, trim, & doors in two bedrooms, hallway, and foyer

Hey! Hello! Hi! It’s Shelby here—with three young kiddos, Curtis has reminded me that it’s been a hot minute since we have shared before/afters, and goodness have we been busy!

If you haven’t heard, we completed the renovations at 621 Charleston Avenue in Mattoon, IL. On Monday, February 14th, FD Boutique & Studio and Milk & Honey Coffee House will be open! Like & follow us at Milk & Honey Coffee House for more updates!

We cannot wait for everyone to come check out our location, but per my husbands request, I wanted to share some snippets of before/afters with you!

On the left we have our barista station! What was once a porch addition has been transformed into a beautiful, clean work area for our crew. On the right, we have the before & after of our women’s restroom! It’s amazing what drywall, finishing, painting, and laying down new flooring can do to brighten a room up!

Jussssst another day on the job 😅

One kiddo is at youth group, which means baby Emryn & Liam get to join us to bid a job this evening near Lake Paradise—when the toddler has to take a potty break, you make a quick stop and race back to the vehicle! When ya gotta go, ya gotta go!
