Smart Septic is all over! Working on a sewer line replacement in Hudsonville today.

We got it all dug up, pipe re bedded, and backfilled. Tomorrow, we will get the driveway section backfilled with some fresh 21AA to prepare for a hot patch asphalt that will be done on Wednesday morning.

This was a challenging job. When the tank was installed, there was very minimal slope put on the pipe so each section of pipe had to be installed almost perfectly to ensure a downward slope, but to not use too much slope, too quickly.

We began a big project in Fennville today!

This all started because we went to do an inspection of the drain field and realized someone had poured the basketball court over top of the drain field. From there, the work piled on.

We are going to remove the old basketball court and install a sand volleyball pit. Over top of the old sand volleyball pit, we are forming for a full size basketball court that will double as a pickleball court.

To cap it all off we will be installing (3) 1000 gallon tanks and a 500 gallon dosing tank that will pump over to a 1500 square foot drain bed. This will be a solid few weeks of work by the time it’s said and done. There will be a lot of hand work to get the sewer line out from behind the pool house and into the open yard.

We really don’t have much availability left for this year. If you want to get your project done before 2027, give us a call as soon as possible!

Getting going on a small system this morning. This customer called us last week. They are leaving for their winter home next week and needed it done ASAP. We always try to leave a little bit of flexibility in the schedule for times like these.

We were able to get both of the tanks in today and connected to the house as well as the drain bed dug out. Beautiful fall weather makes us happy!

Tanner and Jose have the new tank in and connected to the house. The drain bed is 1/4 dug out and we will soon be ready to start laying gravel! These boys are moving right along today in this beautiful weather. Keep up the good work, men!

All the way down in Vicksburg, got this cleaned up before the rain!

We installed a new 1000 gallon tank and (4) 50’ trenches for this customer. Right before we were about to leave he asked if we could seed the yard. We threw some extra labor at it to get it knocked out for him! This was another Michigan Saves project. The customer was able to secure a 1% loan over 120 months. It really is a great program and more people should take advantage of it. Give us a call to learn more about the process and we would be happy to get things rolling for you.

Bonus: the neighbor got some free dirt they had been wanting. Everybody wins!

Watch CJ in action. This Omega Liquid Waste Solutions hose reel put out 150’ of suction hose in about 30 seconds.

With our standard trucks this would have taken around 5-8 minutes to manually drag 5 sections of hose. Saving time and the teams back!
