Remember that 30-foot steel beam we showed flying into place? 👀🏗️

Here’s what it looks like now that it’s officially installed!

To create one big, open kitchen, we removed a load-bearing wall and the existing load-bearing beam—which meant we needed some serious structural support to take their place. Enter: this 30-foot steel beam. 💪

We shared the drone footage of the beam going in, but we wanted to give you a closer look at what’s actually happening behind the scenes before everything gets covered up.

Next up, this beam will be drywalled and finished with a Level 5 finish, so eventually you’ll never know all this steel is hiding underneath.

Stay tuned—we’ll show you what it looks like once it’s completely finished. The transformation is going to be good. 👏

This renovation near Downtown Knoxville is coming together beautifully, with a design that honors the character of this home while creating spaces that will enhance the way these homeowners and their guests experience the home every day.
