TIPS FOR PLANT HEALTH IN THE HEAT 👇 🥵
🌿 1. Water Early, Deep—& Only When Needed
Check your soil first—if it’s dry a few inches down, it’s time to water. Morning is best for a deep soak, 1–2 times per week.
🌸 2. Deadhead + Prune
Remove spent blooms to encourage new flowers, and give shrubs a light trim if they’ve finished flowering.
🥵 3. Mulch Matters
Replenish mulch to help retain moisture and regulate soil temps—especially during this hot, stormy stretch.
🌱 4. Go Easy on Fertilizer
High heat can stress plants. If needed, apply a slow-release or organic fertilizer early in the day and water it in well.
🍅 5. Harvest Regularly
Pick fruits, veggies, and herbs as they ripen to keep your plants producing (and your meals fresh!).
