📢 Florida Wind Mitigation Update – Effective 4/1/2026

Florida has new wind mitigation requirements and updates to the official inspection form beginning April 1, 2026.

To stay fully aligned with the state’s updated standards, I’m currently completing a Continuing Education (CEU) course focused specifically on these changes (see photo below 👇).

Staying proactive with continuing education ensures:

✔ Accurate documentation under the new form
✔ Proper classification of roof geometry (including hip credit calculations)
✔ Compliance with updated state requirements
✔ The best possible protection and potential insurance credits for my clients

The standards are evolving, and it’s critical that inspections reflect the most current requirements — not outdated practices.
