Oh my goodness, I am SO excited about this kitchen… and it’s not even mine! 🤍✨

We’re ordering this absolutely gorgeous 48” commercial-style Café range by GE, one of our Southern Living Builder sponsors, and can we just have a moment for those incredible BRASS handles?! 😍

Picture this… a stunning stainless steel range, refrigerator, and dishwasher, all with those beautiful brass accents! Now pair that with rich walnut cabinetry, crisp white cabinets, brass hardware, and gorgeous brass pendant lighting.

Walnut + White + Brass = Kitchen MAGIC! ✨

It’s going to be one of those kitchens where every little detail comes together beautifully, and I seriously cannot wait to see it installed!

One of my favorite parts of being a custom home builder? Getting just as excited about my clients’ dream kitchens as I would my own!

When I built my own home, I remember just how overwhelming all the decisions could be! So many choices, so many details, and trying to decide where to splurge and where to compromise.

But one thing I knew for certain — I wanted a standing seam metal roof over my family room, and that was one decision I wasn’t willing to compromise on!

On rainy Sundays like today, listening to the rain on that roof, I’m reminded just how grateful I am for that little piece of home I envisioned years ago. Sometimes it’s the simplest details that bring us the most joy. ❤️

Wishing everyone a wonderful Sunday! If you’re local, hopefully you’re tucked in somewhere cozy, enjoying the sound of the rain and a little slower pace today.

There’s truly no place like home. 🏡

Once in kitchens, always in kitchens! ❤️❤️❤️

Fun fact: my nickname — and yes, even my old AOL email — has always been Keri Cabinets. 😂 So while I’m building big, beautiful homes from the ground up, somehow I always find myself circling right back to the kitchens… and I still LOVE it.

When I get to direct the finishes on one of our spec homes, it’s equal parts fun and hmmm… what would the buyer love? What feels fresh? And what gives you that WOW the second you walk in?

Sharing a little early-morning design decision-making for some upcoming Middleburg Plan kitchen ideas, and I want to know what you would choose:

✨ Statement stainless hood or something softer and more custom?
✨ Classic all-white kitchen or bring in warmer tones?
✨ White oak cabinetry — loving it or ready for the next thing?
✨ Open shelving or keep everything tucked behind doors?
✨ A dedicated coffee bar inside the pantry off the kitchen — YES please? ☕️
✨ Walnut accents paired with crisp white cabinetry?

Kitchens really are the heart of the home, and when you’re designing for a future buyer, every little decision matters.

So help me design this one — what would make you stop and say, “THIS is my kitchen”? 🤍🏡

But can we talk about that roofline?! 😍 Seeing this home take shape from above really shows off the architecture and scale of this plan.
