One of our biggest transformations of the season! 🔥

We completely rebuilt this 800+ sq. ft. paver patio, giving the backyard a fresh look and a space built to last. From proper excavation and base preparation to the finished pavers, steps, and landing, every detail was built with longevity in mind.

Another project we’re proud to put the River Ridge name on.

Meet the owner behind River Ridge Lawn & Landscape! 👋

My name is Jay Ellingson, and I’m the owner of River Ridge. I graduated from Maple Grove High School in 2023 and have always had a huge passion for the outdoors and working with my hands. That passion eventually turned into building a business centered around creating outdoor spaces that people can enjoy for years to come.

What started small has grown into something I’m extremely proud of. From paver patios and retaining walls to landscaping and complete outdoor transformations, I love being able to take a homeowner’s vision and bring it to life.

Being a local business owner means a lot to me. I’m incredibly grateful for every homeowner who has trusted me and my crew with their property, and I’m excited to continue growing River Ridge while serving Maple Grove and the surrounding communities.

If you see us around town, don’t hesitate to say hi!

A failing retaining wall doesn’t just look bad—it becomes a safety issue.

We removed this failing 30-foot wall and rebuilt it the right way with a reinforced Versa-Lok retaining wall, geogrid reinforcement, and a proper drainage system designed for long-term performance. Built from the ground up with the right base, the right materials, and attention to every detail.

At River Ridge Lawn & Landscape, we don’t believe in shortcuts—only solutions that are built to last.

Our biggest retaining wall to date. 💪

This project wasn’t just about size—it was fully structurally engineered and built to perform for years to come. From excavation and foundation preparation to drainage, reinforcement, and the final block, every detail was completed with long-term durability in mind.

At River Ridge Lawn & Landscape, we take pride in building retaining walls that are as strong as they are good-looking.

If you’re looking for a retaining wall built the right way the first time, we’d love to help.
