🪚Fresh off the workbench from Wesley's Dad Woodworking: A special project donated to the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center’s annual Holly Days Christmas Market.

🪵 Large Cedar Planter Boxes — clean lines, solid cedar, built to handle whatever you throw in 'em (or plant in 'em). Big enough to make a statement on any porch or patio.

🪵 Hexagon Cedar Planter Set (3-piece) — a little different, a little sharper. These tapered hex planters stack beautifully together for that layered garden look.

Go support our local medical workers and programs by bidding on these and many other great items at Holly Days Christmas Market happening November 7th.

Fresh out of the WDW shop! 📚

My wife asked me to build some bookshelves for our daughters’ room — a place for all the books, trophies, and little trinkets they’ve collected along the way. This is the first of two matching shelves, and I finished it in a warm tan paint that keeps that cozy, wood-like feel while giving it the durability of a high-quality interior finish.

There’s something special about building for your own kids. My hope is these shelves become part of their childhood — something they hang onto for years, and maybe even pass down to their own children someday. 🪵💛

Handcrafted Cedar Adirondack Chair Set

Built solid, built to last. These are cedar all the way through — naturally bug and weather-resistant with a spar-urethane finish, no cheap pine here. Comfortable slanted back, wide armrests for your drink, and that classic Adirondack look.

Perfect for the patio, the fire pit, or wherever you need a couple good outdoor seats.

Asking $400, OBO. Will deliver within 15 miles. DM me if you’re interested!

Latest build from Wesley’s Dad Woodworking — a custom bar-height Adirondack chair set with a center connecting table. 🪑

I won’t sugarcoat it: this was the most challenging project I’ve taken on so far. Lots of pieces, lots of angles, and a whole lot of problem-solving. Really proud of how these turned out though.

More projects coming in the weeks ahead — stay tuned!

Running out of places to put all those trophies and medals? 🏆🥋🥇 I’ve got you covered!

I recently wrapped up this award shelf for a good friend — the top shelf holds trophies, the slots keep karate belts neatly organized, and the hooks are perfect for hanging medals. All solid wood, all handmade!

Perfect for celebrating your little champion and everything they’ve worked so hard to earn. Drop a comment or DM me if you want one made for your young one!

I had the honor of being commissioned to build this custom spice rack for a Lenox Spice Village, and I have to say—this one was a blast to make! 🛠️✨

This was my first time building a spice rack, and I really enjoyed the process of bringing something both functional and meaningful to life. Projects like this are why I love woodworking—every piece tells a story.

Be on the lookout for more custom projects coming this spring. Thanks for following along and supporting Wesley’s Dad Woodworking!
