I had a Great time at Baker Creek this weekend. I got to trade seeds, listen to great speakers, and of course I got discounted seeds!

I've devised a brilliant plan using the snail method, perfectly suited for my tiny seeds. By enveloping them in packing paper and a repurposed lunch meat container, I've triumphantly overcome the common obstacle of soil loss. This ingenious approach empowers me to bottom water with ease, giving my seeds the ultimate chance to thrive in pots and soil, all without the need for tape or worrying about them disintegrating prematurely.

A question for my fellow gardeners:
Are you familiar with the DIY seed trays from Mindful Farmer?
If you have experience with them, what do you use as a substitute for the metal dog kennel tray for the bottom watering tray?

I want to reduce plastics in my gardening practices.

I've been taking advantage of seed collecting and swapping for exciting winter sowing. I'm bound to have a few extra starts that I might have available for a couple sales this year. I might even barter for a few infrastructure supplies I might trade for from the local area. Check out my list below.
