For the ultimate in structural integrity, we utilize .80 CCA (Chromated Copper Arsenate) treated lumber for the pergola. While standard pressure-treated wood is often rated at .15 or .40, our marine-grade timber is treated to a .80 retention level—the same standard used for permanent saltwater immersion and foundation pilings. It stands on a deck built with fiberglass reinforced composite substrate, topped with 100 percent pvc decking
