Best crew ever!!

Even after going until dark 3 nights in a row to catch up from all the rain they still show up smiling and ready for work. Hawaiian shirt Friday has been a hit for years at ER Lawn Service.

6 years in a row voted Manchester's favorite lawn crew. We are so humbled. Thank you to all our families, customers, local businesses, the city of Manchester, and the school district for making this the best year yet.

Today we celebrate Madalyn.

Madalyn finished her second summer season but has been able to be a huge part of the team year around while continuing to take classes at WCC.

Madalyn is the second part of the enhancement team, and has a special eye for detail when cleaning up pruning debris. Our customers have gotten to know Madalyn by name, and often request help from specifically her because she works so hard and is so thorough.

Madalyn has a few more classes to complete before transferring to Michigan State to pursue a large animal veterinarian degree. In her spare time ahead enjoys spending time with her horse Dakota. Madalyn also plays on the vollyball team at school. Madalyn's newest hobby is learning to make balloon animals. If she works as hard as she does at work at doing balloon animals I'm sure she'll have in perfected in no time.

Madalyn isn't on social media, so she won't see your likes and comments. But if you see her around the village, be sure to give her a high five.

Every year we like to introduce and highlight our crew members. As summer ends and fall begins, now is a perfect time for everyone to meet the team.

Today we want to show our appreciation for Markus. Markus finished his second full season with the ER team this fall. He was able to come in everyday during the school year as well on a work study program. It was always such a great help to have him show up to help finish the day. Once Markus graduated he was all work and no play. Always willing to mow a little late, or help change blades, or even wash trucks and mowers on a Saturday. The statement that "kids don't want to work anymore" does not apply to Markus.

Markus is attending Eastern Michigan this fall and splitting his major between EMT training and training to be a helicopter pilot. He says he never feels as free as when he's "flying with the birds."

When Markus isn't studying or flying he likes to attend fraternity parties, clean his car, and try to keep an accurate count of all the lovely natural curls in his hair.

Thanks Markus...for everything. Couldn't have made it through this season without you.

Every year we like to introduce and highlight our crew members. As summer ends and fall begins, now is a perfect time for everyone to meet the team.

Today we recognize Jordyn. Jordyn came back for her 2nd season with us after a successful first year at Alma. Jordyn is an invaluable member of our "enhancement team" that makes sure that all our customers properties are maintained with the utmost care. Jordyn is never afraid to try something new, and this year she mastered the hedgetrimmers. Even though sometimes it felt like her shoulders were on fire, she would power through and get the job done. Even tall bushes being pruned from a ladder were no match for Jordyn and her eye for detail. Jordyn even helped out mowing this season.

Jordyn is now in her sophomore year at Alma college,where is she majoring in mechanical biology with a minor in mechanical engineering. She is also a member of the softball team and enjoys hitting dingers and ringers. Jordyn claims her true passion is the library where "she can get lost in a good book and a cup of hot chocolate for hours."

Thanks for all your hard work and we can't wait to see what skills you master next year.

Every year we like to introduce and highlight our crew members. As summer ends and fall begins, now is a perfect time for everyone to meet the team.

First is Sarah. This was Sarah's first year with ER, and the first female to be a full time member the mow crew. Sarah shattered ceilings and expectations and made everyone around her better. A 2023 graduate of Manchester, Sarah was the valedictorian, student council president, class secretary, and a state qualifier in cross country. Sarah said that amongst all the awards, achievements, and accolades she has received that "being part of Manchester's best lawn crew has been the highlight of her life this far."

Sarah is attending Michigan State and studying law. In her spare time Sarah enjoys going to the gym, working at the Llama rescue, and volunteering at anything to do with the welfare and safety of young children.

Thank you for your hard work this summer. Best of luck at school. We look forward to seeing you in the spring.

There's a special event at Willow Run Airport this weekend and the staff knew there was only one team that was able to make the property look its very best. Guided secure airport access was a first for us. What an experience.

SUPER EXCITING NEWS!!!

I received a call from Santa this afternoon. Rudolph has tested positive for covid and exposed Donner, Blitzon, Vixen, and all the other reindeer.

Santa knew there was only one team he could trust to help him get the presents to all the boys and girls in Manchester and around the world.
