Congratulations to the participants of NMCC's Heat Pump Installation & Maintenance class, who recently completed their training, earning 4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) while gaining valuable hands-on experience in one of Maine's fastest-growing industries.

Students learned the components of heat pump systems, installation techniques, and routine maintenance procedures. The training combined classroom instruction with practical experience in NMCC's Plumbing & Heating lab, where participants worked directly with installed equipment under the guidance of an experienced industry professional.

This training was delivered in partnership with industry professional Jan Perreault and JP Electric & Heat Pumps, LLC. By working directly with local business and industry partners, NMCC helps ensure workforce training remains aligned with current industry practices while providing participants with valuable hands-on learning opportunities.

This training opportunity was made possible through funding from the Harold Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine's Workforce.
