Bermuda Grass is going to love this little heat wave. If you have Fescue you need to make sure that it gets 1 inch to 1.5 inches of water a week. Longer more infrequent watering builds strong lawns. Watering more than 4 times a week at short intervals can cause favorable conditions for disease. You want to try and wet the top 4 to six inches of soil. Bermuda Grass is a bit more heat tolerant in-fact Bermuda doesn't germinate until the soil temp reaches 70 degrees. Bermuda needs about an inch of water a week as well but id a bit more drought tolerant and can handle a few missed waterings. No matter what kind of lawn you have ensure that you water early in the morning so less water evaporates and more gets to the plant also make sure that you time your watering so that the grass will be dry before It gets dark. The grass staying wet all the time will promote growth of mold.
