⚡ Sometimes it's what you *don't* see that can cause the biggest problems.

We came across a heat kit with a fuse that was completely fried—but surprisingly, it never tripped a breaker. This left the system in an unsafe and unreliable condition.

Instead of just replacing the blown fuse, we recommended the proper repair. We installed a brand-new heat kit complete with built-in breakers, eliminating the need for those old fuses and helping prevent the same issue from happening again.

🚨 Emergency Call Saved This Homeowner Thousands! 🚨

We received a call from a homeowner whose house was extremely hot and had been told that the outdoor unit's compressor had failed and needed to be replaced.

Before recommending a costly repair or replacement, we performed a complete diagnostic of the HVAC system. After testing the compressor, fan motor, and electrical components, we found that everything was actually operating properly.

Digging deeper, we traced the issue to a bypassed electrical disconnect that had caused a high-voltage short. Once the damaged components were replaced and the wiring was repaired correctly, the system fired right up and began cooling again.

We came across this capacitor sitting loose inside a cardboard box, which can become a fire hazard over time. Even though that wasn’t the reason for the service call, we always believe in leaving things better than we found them.

We properly mounted the capacitor, cleaned things up, and made sure the system was operating safely and correctly. ✔️

Out with the old monster and in with a high-efficiency upgrade! ❄️🔥

This outdoor condenser gave this homeowner OVER 30 years of service — definitely got every dollar out of it. Machines like this are built different, and it’s always a little sad seeing these old units finally retire.

Another “I know a guy” special fixed the right way. 👨‍🔧❄️

This mini split system lost all of its refrigerant within a month of being installed due to poor flare connections and sloppy workmanship. Unfortunately, we see this happen far too often when corners are cut during installation.

- Cleaned up the copper line set
- Reflared and secured all connections properly
- Pressure tested the system
- Recharged the unit to manufacturer specifications
- Got the system cooling the way it should

We were not able to install the exterior line set cover yet or mount outdoor electrical box because additional work is currently being done to the outside of the home, but the system is now operating correctly and already looks much cleaner than before.

A properly installed mini split should last for years — not leak out in a few weeks.
