Tree felling involves using a sense of wood holding strength, to weigh potential safe and unsafe options for felling. Here we have a Oak with a left lean, we want it to fall into the open lot knowing it likely will not hold long enough to do so, but an early failure is okay in this situation. if you watch close you can see the moment of failure, when its initial direction changes. regularly "testing" holding strength of different species of trees, can help us to know the best option for safe and cost effective tree removal.
