Exploration Call
We will begin with a phone conversation that will include your “wish list” of features you would like to consider for your project. As a part of this conversation, we will discuss some things such as potential site restrictions, permitting requirements, and rough budget figures for each of the items on your list. At this stage, a plat or house location survey will b
e requested to help us identify and potential easements or site restrictions that could have an impact on the project. Design Consultation
The next step we will schedule a site visit (if applicable) to get a better understanding of your site, conditions, how you currently and desire to use the space, and review the “Wish List” items for further discussion. We will also begin to discuss materials, construction methods, investment expectations, and other items that will help create your dream space. Design Agreement
After the Design Consultation is complete, we will prepare a high-level Pre-Design Budget Study along with a basic Feasibility Study to insure it can be built & we will begin designing in the right direction within your budget parameters. The Design Process
We will get to work creating your design using all the information we have assembled and funneling it into a new creatively designed project. We typically begin at a high concept level and will refine details in the design together. Revisions & Additional Details
If any changes are desired, most are worked through during the presentation if time permits. Some details or changes may require additional time and research, so a final 2-Dimensional PDF plan will be prepared as well as 3D renderings. The designs are yours to have us get pricing with our partner companies or to bid out to other vendors as you see fit. We prefer to not set a hard limit on revisions since it sets a tone limiting creativity from the beginning. Installation
We operate as a “Design-Manage” firm, which is very different from many traditional operations. We have assembled “partner companies” in which we have vetted and established a relationship. We can send off the design to one or more of these vendors to bid and will review the bids and contracts with you to help select the right vendor or set of vendors for your unique project. We will oversee and project manage the installation for a set fee to make certain the design is being installed to proper industry as well as our standards that often go beyond. Finalizing
Upon completion of the project, we will walk through the project with you to make certain all expectations were met, review maintenance details, and deliver any product & material warranties.
