Ask who actually owns the painting company you’re about to hire - chances are, it’s not a painter.

Most are owned by a business degree and a sales team trying to keep sub crews busy. Folks who know how to run numbers and close deals, but couldn’t tell you how to read paint while it’s still wet - how it’s going to level out in the next ten minutes, or whether a run is coming before it ever shows up.

That’s the model for a lot of companies: sell the job, hand it to a sub crew, move on to the next lead. Nobody in that chain is thinking about your walls the way a painter would.

Opus Painting is not that.

28 years ago I started this trade on the tools - long days, hot roofs, jobs that taught me the hard way what “right” actually looks like. That experience is what runs Opus Painting today, not a sales playbook.
