Light Pixie Studio As an artist, I'm able to translate your special memories into a permanent work of art. Ask me! Memories are precious.

Preserve yours in the form of art photographs and paintings. At Light Pixie Studio, I have years of hands-on experience behind both a camera and a paintbrush. By combining those skills with my passion for art, I’m able to paint lifelike portraits of people and pets engaged in their life stories, doing the things that make them so lovable. In addition to this commission work, I also sell my fine art photos in several categories like landscape, architecture, and flowers on my website. You can even have my art printed on mugs, t-shirts, tote bags, or other items. Head over to my website today to browse the current collection and get 20% OFF your first order!

A watchful horned owl peers through ferns, amber eyes holding a quiet, steady curiosity. I created Spirit Owl for a friend who loves mid-century greens and wanted a soul keeper that feels rooted and luminous. It’s joined my Spirit Animals collection and is available as select merchandise. If you’d like your own Spirit Animal, tell me your favorite color and the animal that guides you and I’ll create a custom work of art just for you or as a gift. I was on a non-art mission in Ventura when a modern medical building stopped me, and the sky folded itself across its grid of panels, giving the facade an unexpected depth. Warm, copper-tinged planes sit beside cool bands of blue, and the clouds move across them, sometimes dense and storm-dark, sometimes thin and airy, so the structure reads as both object and stage for weather. It feels calm and precise, a quiet piece that shifts with the light and invites a longer look. I laid on wet ground to capture the reference that sent me into the studio. Crocuses pushed up through a mess of twigs and old Arbor Vitae, a small, insistent yellow that felt like spring announcing itself. In the studio I warmed the surrounding tones so the yellow could read as a clear, luminous voice against dusky rose and muted greens. Yelling Yellow holds that quiet, vivid moment—intimate and certain. See it here: https://www.lightpixiestudio.com/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/yelling-yellow

Pale trunks rise from standing water while the bluffs beyond begin to green. It is the first week of May, when the marsh feels at once still and quietly determined. I wanted to hold that tension between endings and new growth, letting ghostlike trails weave through the old treetops as a small meditation on survival. There is a gentle nudge here to be brave, to sing in the shower, to step into sunlight. See it here: https://www.lightpixiestudio.com/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/wafting-swamp

When I was learning to read my grandmother gave me a little book of Flower Children. A hibiscus that never fully opened shifted in my mind into a party dress and a small figure who just wants to dance. I thought about how hard it can be to be brave and how much gentler life might feel if we let the colors and lines inside us unfurl. There is a quiet insistence in that motion, a reminder that joy can be simple and persistent. In the Wings of the Tropics Garden a quick glint of blue and red felt like a small miracle. Paintbox Tropical Butterfly holds that moment long enough to notice: bold scarlet panels against deep indigo-black, a delicate white scallop along the wing, and a subtle iridescent shimmer near the body. It’s a quiet reminder of transformation, how something ordinary can become unexpectedly magnificent. I hope it brings that hush of the garden into your space. https://www.lightpixiestudio.com/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/paintbox
