We were thrilled to once again lead a tour at Hindry House. As part of the 2026 Annual Excursion during this year’s expo in LA, it was a pleasure to discuss the site history and our landscape rehabilitation for this historically significant residence with an international group of preservation and garden enthusiasts. Our thanks to the Hindry House owners, the maintenance crew, and TCLF for the opportunity to revisit a favorite project, enjoy the wonderful work of locals artists installed onsite, and witness how much this beautiful garden has grown!

Desert Retreat has been a decade-long project consisting of several phases in different areas of the site, and our visit a few days ago offered a stunning display of the desert in bloom.
