Mold behind kitchen cabinets is often hidden until the cabinets or wall materials are removed.
If drywall or other porous wall materials behind your kitchen cabinets become wet and cannot be properly dried, removal may be necessary. Trapped moisture can create the conditions for significant hidden mold growth—just like what we found on this project.
Our remediation process follows IICRC S520 professional mold remediation standards, including proper containment, removal of affected materials, HEPA cleaning, and treatment of the exposed structure.
If you have experienced a sink leak, plumbing leak, dishwasher leak, or water damage behind your kitchen cabinets, don’t ignore it.
