PolyPavement is a soil solidifier company with over 35 years in business. We've been manufacturing the original soil solidifier product since 1989.

What we do: We take native soil; the material already on your property; and permanently transform it into a durable, load-bearing, all-weather surface. No imported gravel. No asphalt. No concrete. The material that's already there becomes the pavement.

Who we serve: Landscape contractors and architects. Wineries and ranches. Golf courses and resorts. Municipalities and public works departments. Equestrian facilities. HOAs and large property owners.

Why it matters: Most unpaved surfaces are a recurring maintenance cost. PolyPavement eliminates that cycle; permanently.

Validated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Trusted for 35 years.

Municipalities face a persistent challenge: rural and semi-rural roads that need to be maintained year-round on limited budgets. Gravel costs keep rising. Equipment and labor for regrading is ongoing. And the roads still aren't permanent.

PolyPavement has been used by counties, cities, and public works departments as a cost-effective alternative for low-volume road surfaces, park trails, and service access routes.
The Army Corps of Engineers validation isn't incidental; it exists precisely because government agencies need documented, tested performance before specifying a product in the public right of way.

If you're a public works director, county road manager, or parks superintendent evaluating surface treatment options; our technical documentation is available and we're glad to discuss your specific application.

For landscape architects and civil engineers specifying surface treatments on large-scale projects:

PolyPavement is a water-based polymer emulsion soil solidifier that permanently transforms native soil into a load-bearing, all-weather pavement surface. It has been validated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and has been specified on projects ranging from municipal roads to resort pathways to equestrian facilities since 1989.

Key specification considerations: Works with most native soils and quarry materials containing adequate fines

Final surface appearance integrates naturally with the surrounding landscape; Suitable for pedestrian, equestrian, and vehicle traffic loads depending on application depth and compaction. No petroleum-based materials; water-based polymer emulsion

Technical documentation and soil evaluation support available for specifiers.

Equestrian facilities have surface requirements that most stabilizing products don't handle well.

Gravel is uncomfortable and shifts. Mud is a health and liability risk. And the traffic patterns on an equestrian property; horses, trailers, and maintenance equipment are unforgiving.

PolyPavement creates a firm, non-slip surface that holds up to hoof traffic and trailer loads without the hardness or hazards of conventional paving. The natural soil texture is maintained. The surface drains. And it doesn't create the kind of rigid hard point that's dangerous to animals.

For barn approaches, paddock paths, riding arena access, and stable yards β€” PolyPavement is a solution that actually fits the use case.

Most people have never heard of a soil solidifier. That's OK, but once you see what it does, you'll wonder why you didn't know sooner.

PolyPavement has been in business since 1989.

That's not a number we mention to impress you. It's relevant because soil solidification is a long-term product claim. A company that's been selling a permanent paving solution for 35 years has customers who can verify that permanence firsthand.

We've seen projects hold up for decades. We've had customers call back; not because something failed, but because they bought a new property and wanted to treat those roads too.

The images you see are of a Japanese Garden path in Southern California that was installed in the early 90's. The first pic was taken a couple days after the installation. The second pic was taken recently. Though the landscaping and design has been altered significantly, the PolyPavement path stayed in tact.

In an industry where new products appear and disappear regularly, 35 years of continued operation is its own validation. The product works. The customers come back. The business endures.

If that track record matters to you when choosing a product for your property; we'd welcome the conversation.

HOA boards and property managers deal with a recurring headache: common area surfaces that need constant attention, eat up maintenance budgets, and still look bad by the end of the season.

Gravel common area paths and access roads have a short life in high-use environments. They migrate, create tripping hazards, require topping off regularly, and generate complaints.

PolyPavement treats those surfaces once and holds them permanently. The cost comparison against repeated gravel maintenance over a 5–10 year horizon consistently favors PolyPavement, often dramatically.

For HOA boards and property managers evaluating common area surface options: we're glad to provide an assessment and cost comparison for your specific property.

Here's how a PolyPavement project actually works - from start to finished surface.

The process is simpler than most people expect:

We scarify and prepare the existing native soil

PolyPavement polymer emulsion is mixed with water and applied to the soil

The treated material is compacted and graded

Within 24-48 hours the surface is solid and ready for use

No exotic materials. No heavy equipment that tears up your property. No long construction timelines. The native soil is the building block PolyPavement is the binding agent that makes it permanent.

The result is a surface that handles vehicle traffic, stands up to rain, and eliminates the dust and erosion that unpaved surfaces create year after year.

A note for landscape architects and civil engineers specifying surface treatments:
The soil solidifier category is often confused with soil stabilizers in specifications; and that confusion leads to products being spec'd that don't deliver long-term performance.

A true solidifier; like PolyPavement; creates a permanent polymer-soil matrix at the particle level. It is not a temporary treatment. It is not subject to seasonal performance degradation. And it does not require reapplication.

When writing specifications for rural roads, park trails, equestrian surfaces, or non-paved access routes where traditional paving is cost-prohibitive or aesthetically inappropriate; soil solidification is the category worth knowing.

We provide technical documentation, soil evaluation support, and specifier consultation at no cost. If you're working on a project that could benefit from this category, contact us at [email protected].
