This is a job where my client previously hired a contractor who installed two tankless water heaters with exhaust vents on the front of the unit inside the additional dwelling unit (ADU).
Typically, these units are used in states with warmer climates and are installed on the side of the house. The problematic install shown filled their newly-remodeled home with CO2 gas. ☣️☠️
I was able to install two new units in hidden locations (the client prefered the units to not be viewable in the living space). This was done safely, with exterior exhausts, and to code.
