Okay guys, this was an absolutely lovely family to provide garden service for.
This job was a doozy! One thing I am learning as a new business in this field that I love is that, just like a home you want to buy, always look UNDER/IN/ABOVEโฆthe ground cloth, walk behind, look above and under so there are fewer surprises.
However, after much hard work and getting some extra helping hands, I was able to complete this job.
Advice for Oak Tree owners with oak saplings:
#1 Get rid of the saplings or mow them down while theyโre young or it will turn into deep rooted saplings and eventually come up from the roots of the trees instead of dropped acorns and turn into tangled sapling roots like the one photo of the MANY vines hiding underneath a very thick ground cloth.
#2 I also suggest to never use ground cloth for any gardens since leaves, debris, dirt will compost and eventually will make it very difficult to w**d and w**ds will grow anyway. If you mulch and stay on top of the w**ding, ground cloth is seldom needed.
#3 Never stop gardening. It will bring your true joy!!
Enjoy these before and afters!
