It was the end of the road for these two turn of the century elevators in Lancaster.. Cardinal Elevator safety lowered this 1920 freight elevator to be demolished later in the project and we also fully removed this 1940's hydraulic elevator. Once the contractor raises the hydraulic elevator shaft to service the top floor, that elevator shaft will be reused to install a brand new Alliance elevator this summer!

Another solid repair completed by our certified mechanics here at Cardinal Elevator!! This 1952 Rotary Lift elevator machine was originally located in the crawlspace of this building and had an irreparable leaking valve. We built a code compliant, fire rated machine space and replaced the existing hydraulic tank and valve with a made in USA MEI unit, this old elevator should last another 70 years!!
