5 YEARS. Same crew. More stories. Maybe a few more gray hairs.

We had the opportunity to spend some time in the field recognizing our team for reaching five years with FREEZ Construction.

Five years of early mornings, long days, solving problems, taking care of customers, and most importantly—helping build FREEZ right alongside us.

The anniversary gear is cool. The boxes are cool. But the handwritten thank-you notes? That’s the part that matters.

Because at the end of the day, buildings don’t build companies.

People do.

We’re incredibly grateful for the people who have chosen to grow with us and helped shape FREEZ into what it is today.

Cheers to five years, fellas!

We brought our FREEZ thermal design team out to the Thrive Foods project to see exactly what happens when their details leave the screen and become the real thing.

Because a detail hits a little different when you’re standing inside it.

Design it. Build it. Learn from it. Repeat.
That’s how we stay A Few Degrees Better…™

The construction industry is getting really efficient at not talking to each other.

Email sent.
Email forwarded.
“See below.”
“Please advise.”
Repeat until the building is finished.

And now AI can write half of those emails for us. Which is incredible. We use it. We love it. It makes us better.

But there’s one thing I don’t ever want technology to replace:

Human interaction.

Pick up the phone.
Call the customer.
Walk the job together.
Ask the question.
Have the uncomfortable conversation.
Build an actual relationship.

We’re making a conscious effort to protect that.

When you hire FREEZ, you’re getting more than IMP walls, thermal systems, doors, or one hell of a roof.

You’re getting people.

People who answer. People who communicate. People who care about the outcome. And people who want you to feel like your project is in good hands from start to finish.

Technology should make us better at serving people — not better at avoiding them.

3,500 insulated metal panels.
275,000 SF of cold storage.
95,000 SF of freezer.
30+ cold storage doors.

And enough thermal details and box-outs to make a normal contractor suddenly remember they have another meeting.

This was a BIG box-in-box project—and our FREEZ field team absolutely crushed it.

From the IMP walls and ceilings to the freezer addition, doors, thermal transitions, box-outs and all the little details nobody notices when they’re done right…this one came together CLEAN.

Proud of the craftsmanship. Proud of the crew. Proud everyone remained safe. Did we mention we were proud of this one yet?

We often all load up social media with pumping someone’s tires or bragging about a project well done…

But today, today is different. One year later...

Regardless of politics, Charlie Kirk was a husband, a father, a friend, and someone who stood firmly for what he believed in.

Today, we simply remember a life lost too soon and keep his family and loved ones in our prayers.

Rest in peace, Charlie. 🙏

Dallas brought the heat. Naturally, we talked about keeping things cold.

Our own Vice President of Thermal, Luke Waite, hit the stage at the I.CON Cold Conference alongside some of the industry’s best to break down what it really takes to construct a cold storage facility—from design and coordination to ex*****on in the field.

Turns out, building giant refrigerated boxes is slightly more complicated than plugging in a freezer.

Proud to see Luke representing FREEZ and sharing the knowledge that keeps our industry moving forward.

A Few Degrees Better… Always.

Have a safe and blessed holiday weekend.

Sometimes you just have to look at things from a different perspective.

Hard work. Great people. And apparently… one hell of a photo opportunity.
