That time of year again for my annual Asbestos Inspector recertification to be licensed in the state.

Friendly reminder for anyone in the trades (construction, contractors, HVAC, painting/drywall, electricians, plumbers, etc)...

- there is NO exclusion date (meaning it doesn't matter if the structure was built in 2024), it still must be sampled. Yes, I have personally sampled materials from the 2000's that have tested positive for asbestos
- anytime you disturb, cut, remove anything inside a home or business, the State of NC and EPA require testing of asbestos by a licensed inspector
- most everything must be sampled, with the exception of glass, metal, and natural wood products. Things like "popcorn" ceilings, tile & vinyl floors, drywall, etc. should be sampled.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to grow our customer base and represent our brand in the community. If you are motivated, outgoing, and want to do work that matters, this is the role for you. This is a full-time position with competitive wages & commission, commensurate with experience. What You Will Do:
* Build and maintain referral source relationships with customers, referral partners, and community leaders
* Promote PuroClean through outreach, presentations, and local events
* Coordinate lunch-and-learns, CE classes, and client appreciation events
* Educate clients on the restoration process and what to expect during an emergency
* Identify new business opportunities through networking and lead generation
* Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a great client experience
* Track activity, goals, and performance using CRM or sales tools
* Represent the brand with professionalism, empathy, and integrity
* Perform other tasks and functions in support of our office and customers

What We Are Looking For:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for helping others and giving back to the community
- Ability to lead presentations and connect with a wide range of people
- Technically knowledgeable, especially with computer applications, social media, etc.
- Self-motivated, organized, reliable, and goal-oriented
- Willingness to learn the restoration industry from the ground up
- Clean background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred (But Not Required): Previous sales, marketing, or customer service experience, familiarity with CRM platforms or client management tools and a background in restoration, insurance, construction, or real estate

Because we have been so busy lately, we added another PuroClean team member a few weeks ago. Meet Brent O. Brent served in the NC Army National Guard for about 8 Years. He has been an Eagle Scout since 2015 and earned it with troop 25 out of Archdale NC. He is also engaged to an awesome woman with plans to get married next year!
