The Clauses Vacation in Hoover after things settle down from the Christmas Holidays.

Twas the day before Christmas and in his room addition,
Santa was Sleeping, getting ready for his mission.
The Crown Mold was hung at the ceiling with care,
In hopes that Mrs. Clause soon would be there.
The carpenters were home all snug in their beds,
While visions of tomorrow's Hardwoods danced in their heads...............

OHHHHMYYYYYYY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another Surprise Visit on the Clause Remodel Job! We all assumed that most people visit their summer home...... IN THE SUMMER!
That's what we get for ASSuming! We found Santa all tuckered out and sawing logs in the new addition.

Never the less, this perfectly designed sun-room, with foam insulation and perfect drywall, has only one flaw - the drywall finish is so incredibly slick and smooth that the painters are having a really difficult time getting the paint to stick on the walls. It just falls right off. Other than that, things are going smooth and we're getting ready for some window trim and Oak Flooring.........

And the Clause's.......Well, you've gotta meet this couple! Charming, Humble, Friendly, & Super-Respectful, (and always Hungry),..... Just the most Jolly two we've ever run across. Always hiding out somewhere trying to sneak kisses from one another like they're in high school or something...........

Well, we plan to have their project all wrapped up in the next couple of weeks and hopefully get Santa & Mrs. Clause to say a few good words on Angie's List or something. Looking forward to their next project. A CUSTOM DESIGNED 12 DEER GARAGE.... We can't wait!

NOT EVEN SANTA CLAUSE was able to escape the “jaws” of this recession. And with the sequester and all, he’s had to search for things to do to supplement his income. Landscaping, Framing, Ditch Digging, … you name it and he’s doing it!
He was making it O.K. for a while, but now with this ObamaCare and being forced to provide health insurance for over 2 million elves (even the illegal ones) he’s having to do whatever he can to keep the plant open.
Fortunately for the guys at Harmony Remodeling, Mrs. Clause wasn’t letting Santa off the hook for that new screened porch he had promised her, so here we go again at the Clause’s summer home in Hoover. Being quite the negotiator, Santa twisted our arms into giving him a discount in exchange for his labor services. The man turned out to be quite talented with a nail gun and has a great eye for visually stimulating architecture. Though he can be quite “bossy” at times, we have thoroughly enjoyed having this jolly fellow hanging out with us throughout the project. If he ever decides to leave the Family Business, he’ll always have a job opportunity with Harmony!

SURPRISE VISIT FROM MR. & MRS. CLAUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally caught us off guard!!! Thought there was no way they would be by until after Christmas. Fortunately, and once again, the project was on schedule, clean, and under budget. Everyone was happy, loved what they saw, and we all shared hot coco. After the short unannounced visit, Santa and the Mrs' took off and headed north to check on their Elves. I just hope we're this prepared on their next surprise visit!

Very interesting request this week, Mr. & Mrs. Santa Clause called and asked us to add a Sun Room to their Summer home. We thought, there is no way we can commute that far and still come in under budget, but then Santa told us he was talking about his summer home in Hoover, Alabama.
We started last week and with the two of them being gone all the time it's pretty easy to make progress.
