This early-twentieth-century masterpiece, set in one of Lexington’s historic neighborhoods, is a study in timeless design.

At this Georgian-inspired estate, every finishing detail was hand-selected to bring warmth, character, and a sense of invitation into each room.

Richly patterned wallpaper, handmade millwork, and tonal brass and stone details bring a classic, lived-in feel to this new build. Artisanal-quality building techniques and materials — together with authentic historical design — create the sense of an heirloom estate standing for 200 years.

Every historical restoration project carries a sense of responsibility and connection to the architects and builders that came before us. This mid-century design is no exception.

Fifty years after its original construction by premier modernist architect Richard Isenhour, this piece of Kentucky architectural history needed restoration inside and out.

We approached both with our evergreen commitment to honoring original designs while implementing modern building science to preserve Isenhour’s work for the next half-century and beyond.
