This Memorial Day weekend, EJS Great Lakes Dive Solutions visited the Airborne & Special Operations Museum near Fort Bragg to honor the warriors, families, and heroes who gave everything for this nation. Walking those halls is a powerful reminder that freedom comes at a cost paid by generations willing to serve others.

I also had the chance to reconnect with one of my lifelong Army Battle Buddies, a friendship built through service and sacrifice that never fades. Memorial Day is about remembrance, gratitude, and honoring those who never made it home.

To all our fallen heroes, we remember you. 🇺🇸

Coming to the end of National Police Week, I’ve been reflecting on the 26.5 years I served as a New York State Trooper and in law enforcement. So many details, memories, lessons learned, and great people I had the honor to work beside over the years. I feel blessed that I made it through a long career safely and was able to start a new chapter in life after law enforcement.

Public safety diving helped cut my teeth in the diving world, and those experiences still shape how we operate today at EJS Great Lakes Dive Solutions with safety, professionalism, and service. A salute to all officers — past, present, and future — thank you for what you do every day. Stay safe and watch each other’s backs.
