Everything looks good on paper until the person doing the actual work shows up! 😂🤦‍♂️

It’s crazy how many costly mistakes, delays, and headaches could be avoided if the people making the decisions actually consulted the people doing the work! 🛠️🏗️

Just because it looks good on a blueprint doesn’t mean it’ll work in real life! 💯

How's it going. Been a busy week. Spent most of it a Radius recycling working on roll of dumpsters. Worked in an emergency call for a steel building site with some missing bolting plates on a truss. Got a big project going on next week doing an addition on a hannaford in Farmington. That will be a fun one. I also got to fit in 2 handrail jobs and a stainless table i got to make for a bar. A lot of work on the schedule.

Good evening. Made some great progress today on the lowboy trailer just to be brought to a halt at the end while installing the center plate.
To whoever the previous owner was of this trailer, I hope you stub your pinky toe on a corner somewhere really bad and then do it again, on the same toe, the next day. 😤
You're half fast work is becoming a pain in my ass putting this trailer back to manufacturing specs. Appreciate the work though 😒

Good evening folks. I've been using this week to catch up on some work that has been put aside due to my commercial work being very busy. Got a lot of miscellaneous things cleaned up and organized and taken care of. along with these 3 stainless chimney flue for my high school teacher/baseball coach. Today I got it all assembled and welded. Tomorrow I get the tops bent up so I could install it onsite soon. I didn't forget about you mr. Dwyer.

We have completed the grapple crane. All cracks have been gouged out, back plated and welded up. The 2 areas around the turret head have been gouged back down to the original plate seam welded back up.
The big suitcase feeder put in some work running that 1/16" fabshield wire. It made all the weld build up for the spots on the grapple arms quick and easy. Ran about 21v at just under 200 ipm. It was a perfect setting to run in every position.
I got a lot of paperwork and errands to catch up on tomorrow. Gotta replenish the consumables and torch bottles also. The truck can use some cleaning as well. With that said. Time to go.

Good afternoon people's. I had a busy today at the portland yard for radius recycling. Got right to work on their grapple crane that had a bunch of cracks and need of some fixing. Today I focused on getting everything gouged and grounded down. Tomorrow we'll be putting in the backing plates and getting everything welded up. Hope you guys enjoyed the chilly morning with more to come.
