In 2013, living in a little house with a little yard, my husband said he wanted backyard chickens and a vegetable garden. I had been thinking the very same thing.

In 2015, we moved to a property big enough for our babies and future animals to run.

By 2016, without a single clue of what we were doing, we went on over to Tractor Supply and got our first 6 hens. We also grew the biggest veggie garden of all time and could barely keep up with half of it. The groundhogs were very grateful for all the free food 😆

It's 2026 and looking back it's been better than expected. (New life motto). Cheers to following your chicken dreams, your garden dreams, and whatever God has put on your heart ❤️
