We have been to this residence several times in the last few years for raccoons. Animals leave behind pheromones that attract each other to the same area. In these situations when animals are causing damage, we euthanize them to ensure the ones we are dealing with won’t come back. The picture below shows their determination to get in the home. They found a weak point a tore it open. Traps are in place.

Chipmunks can be really aggressive diggers. They can move way more dirt than most people would expect. They can undermine plants which can damage the plants. We’ve seen where they’ve undermined concrete pads so badly that the concrete was sinking down inches where the dirt had been removed from. Call us to help you get rid of digging pests.

This is a bathroom vent fan discharge, the kind you see on the side of a home with multiple flaps to keep creatures and wind out. While inspecting the home for creature entry point we found that whoever installed the bathroom fan failed to install any ductwork to this discharge. All of the steam from showers and other bathroom air is being discharged into the attic space which will cause a mold issue. Not good!
Always check the work before the contractor leave you with an unfinished job. If you don’t know what to look at call an inspector.

These past few years we have been busy with carcass removals. Our area especially, has been hit hard with death causing illnesses plus the normal trauma’s causing deer to die.
Please keep in mind, it is not legal to touch or handle any dead deer without first filling out the “Michigan Road Kill Salvage Application” on line or receiving a tag from a police officer or conservation officer. And spotted deer are off limits for anybody to touch (per the conservation order of Michigan).

Woodpecker issues at this home. The woodpeckers would consistently drum and bore holes through the corner board. I installed two of our spinners and one commercial spinner. You can see our spinners are way more active than the commercial one. We use spinners to ward off woodpeckers because these birds a usually spooked by motion.

This is a ridge vent on the top of a home with squirrel problems. The squirrels have chewed the vents edges pretty bad. This damage can contribute to water leaking in through the roof during major storms.

This is why expansion foam is never a good idea for trying to seal out animals or birds. Our customers friend was trying to assist them and filled these two woodpecker holes using foam and within 2 weeks birds reopened the hole and then bats got back into the house.
