🔪 Quality craftsmanship doesn’t have to come with a luxury price tag.

Every cutting board I make is built by hand, one at a time. I love creating boards that look beautiful on your counter but are made to be used every single day.

If you’ve admired those premium artisan boards but couldn’t justify the price, that’s exactly why I started making mine.

The boards in this photo are already spoken for (thank you!), but I have several finished boards available on Marketplace right now.

When the rack is full, you know it’s a good day in the shop. 🛠️
Taking a quick second to share a view of the current setup in the shop. I’m currently batching out a big cutting board order, and this green rack is earning its keep today.

# # 🪵 That’s Not a Cutting Board… It’s an Absolute Beast.
Fresh off the wide-belt sander! This massive, custom end-grain board is handcrafted from **Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry)**.
Known for its extreme hardness and density, this beast features a stunning chevron grain border and is built to last multiple lifetimes. Definitely a "lift with your legs" kind of build! 💪

Behind the Scenes in the Shop! 🛠️

Shop pictures aren’t always the most beautiful, but I just had to share this piece because it turned out gorgeous! The contrast between this deep blue and the rich wood tones is everything.
I know I don’t always post to social media as much these days—I’ve been staying incredibly busy crafting custom cutting boards and listing them directly over on Marketplace.

It’s all in the details. 🪵👀 Let’s talk about process.
When you’re making end tables this substantial, the woodworking must be precise. These two boards are end-grain panels, which means individual wood blocks were meticulously aligned and glued together before the final dimensioning.
Once the panels were perfect, the build focused on creating a seamless structure to show off that incredible checkerboard grain. Now that they are complete, I am excited to see the final result.

Just put the finishing touches on a board which is my new all time favorite board that I have ever made. This board is made from tiger wood and measures 24.5”x18.5”x2.75” - it’s a heavy beast I imagine every bit of 40 pounds.

Nothing kills a project faster than the "winter crack." 🛠️❄️
Wood is basically a giant sponge—if the shop air gets too dry, the wood shrinks, surfaces check, and joinery starts to pull apart. I’m finally leveling up the workshop environment with this high-capacity humidifier to keep the Relative Humidity stable.
The goal: Keep the moisture content consistent so the wood stays flat and the glue-ups stay tight. No more wasted lumber. 🪵✨
