Got a call today from ESPN College GameDay. Their t-shirt printing trailer wasn’t working on its very first outing -- brand new and never used before. They’ll be printing thousands of shirts tomorrow to give away, so this was urgent.

I parked a mile and a half away, hauled in all my tools, and had everything configured and running in about an hour. They said they needed a Hail Mary. That’s what I gave them. I even came away with a free College GameDay shirt.

Good luck to Penn State tomorrow against Oregon. We Are Penn State!

Last spring I got a call from Dan Picca of The Penn State Bank Button Society after a major power issue left multiple units at risk. What could have been a disaster turned into one of the most memorable service calls I’ve had, and the kind words he shared about Rush Electrical Services meant a lot to me.

On top of a most generous review, Dan surprised Meg and me with Penn State tickets, he told us to choose any game, and even gave us a parking pass right across from the stadium. We chose the Villanova game, our first time back in Beaver Stadium since 2007. It was an incredible experience, and we’re truly grateful for the thoughtfulness.
