Here is a test I did with the 9" tool repeatedly cutting 1/2" rebar. The Broco Diamond Ripper blade cuts faster than this Makita blade and I will show that on another test soon. Also I did not have the grip handle installed because I was testing to see how controllable the tool was without it. Let me know what you think!!

We have been doing some fun things developing new breaching tools with Makita 4.5 and 9" angle grinders and Broco Diamond Ripper blades. More news to come soon. Initial tests with some Special Forces folks have been going very well!!

Saw Armor sling system for chainsaws

Take a look at this first demo of our Magpul Paraclip chainsaw sling system.

This demo uses our Structure Fire Rescue saw. Obviously you can use our sling adapter mount on saws as needed - Husqvarna 562xp, 372xp, 390xp and 395xp, STIHL 460, 461, Makita/Dolmar 6100.

We can make adapters for most saws with a minimum order or demand.

This allows you to use Magpul Paraclip hardware to carry your saw easily and clip in/out quickly.

The adapter plate with Magpul hardware (sling not included) MSRP will be $79.99

You can use a Magpul sling or make you own sling by using a Magpul connector (widely available online/stores) and make your own sling with some 1" strap and a buckle.

We will have a number of sling kit options available on our website.

Thank you Gilbert, AZ Fire for your order of 10 armor plates for all your STIHL MS 461 saws.

These are from the first batch with Cerakote that we ran. The finish is unique in that we sandblasted the aluminum, to make sure the Cerakote stuck to the metal.

Later we found that Cerakote sticks fine with our original Chemfilm finish, so we switched back to that.

These armor plates are kinda cool, as they have a "stealth" look to them!

The Cerakote coating allows you to wipe the dirt and oil off the armor plates with a rag and no cleaning fluid is needed. Makes for a fast cleanup after cutting.

Venture Fire and Tactical in Searcy, AR is supporting Saw Armor dealers in the South East and has the skills to build you an awesome Rescue or Wildland saw with Husqvarna 562xp or 372xp powerheads.

This Makita PS 6100 was built at the Saw Armor Custom Shop and is the first of three that will be headed to the front lines in Indiana.

We used a Makita 6100 powerhead, Saw Armor protective plate, ladder hook, Magpul Paraclip one & two point sling.

Cerakote treated muffler, armor plate, sprocket cover, clutch cover, depth limiter and scrench tool.

The benefits of Cerakote (widely used by military and law enforcement) is that it protects plastic and metal parts from chemical corrosion and allows you to clean off the saw very easily with a rag, like wiping food/grease off a Teflon pan.

Cobalt tipped hard nose bar (no sprocket to foul up) with Saw Armor Gen 2 quick release reversible depth limiter.

This saw only sips VP Racing Fuels 94 octane Small Engine Fuel.

And it's always good to have a spare nut.

So we put one right by the scrench tool in case you lose a nut.

Relax. This saw has three nuts.

We have our first batch of the new Cerakote treated armor plates for Husqvarna 562xp, 372xp, STIHL MS 046, 460, 461, 066 and 660 available now. 390xp is coming soon.

The coating makes these armor plates really easy to clean, and resistant to chemicals etc.

We are also Cerakoting sprocket covers, chain guides and mufflers, to rust proof them and make is easy to wipe off oil, sap and dirt.
