Are you wanting ducks?
1 male and 4 hens.

I have someone in the duck community who has to get rid of ten ducks that she loves dearly in KC by the end of the day (long story). I can't have more than five more at this time for a number of reasons. Is there anyone would like to take the other five ducks?? It is a serious commitment so only if you have the ability and desire. There is a learning curve but very doable if really invested and if done properly can become fairly low maintenance with time. I would be willing to take all ten for a few days while adopter gets set up if needed. Ducks actually do not need an in ground water source. Sprinklers and kids pools are loved by all ducks, access to clean water 24/7 is a must but elaborate pond set ups are not needed so don't let that stop you.

Note: if you have chickens they have to have separate housing!

A person should really never own only 2-3 ducks so this is as small as a start up flock could be. I'd even suggest maybe taking one more hen to make 1:5 to set you up for success. There really is no try one duck out, they are flocks an rely on numbers for every aspect of their survival. Feel free to ask questions!

Preferably adopter would have prior experience but I am willing to spend a lengthy time educating and mentoring along the way if someone is serious about learning. No gatekeeping here, we want these amazing animals to thrive.

We are willing to pick them up in KC.
