Greater Haverhill Arts Association The GHAA was created in 1971 to provide artists and enthusiasts with a sense of community as well as opportunities to share their art.

Since 1971 the GHAA has provided artists and enthusiasts with a sense of community as well as opportunities to share their art. Our various artist members work in every medium: acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolor, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and printmaking. A number of them accept commissions for landscapes, still lifes, or portraits (people, pets, buildings). One of the ways we su

pport artists is to offer twice- monthly workshops for learners of all ages and skills. Another is to present painting demonstrations by esteemed professional artists. Both opportunities are open to the public. Our mission is to promote art and artists and to keep art integral to our lives and accessible and affordable for all.

GHAA MEMBERS - a reminder that you have a little under a week to register for our Summer Member Exhibit! Registration deadline is June 23.

GHAA Member Artists are invited to show their work at the 2026 Summer Member Exhibit. This exhibit will be held at Andover’s Memorial Hall Library, 2 North Main Street, Andover, MA from June 30 until August 31.

GHAA Members are invited to exhibit 2 original wall hung works (no larger than 30” wide including frame) or small 3-D pieces up to 15". The first piece must be for sale, but the second can be NFS. There is no hanging fee for this exhibit.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the reception to celebrate our Annual Open Exhibit at the Buttonwoods Museum! Over 100 pieces are displayed from 48 local artists in a variety of different media. Flowers by Steve supplied a beautiful arrangement which was given in a door prize raffle and GHAA President Michael Rossi presented the awards.

A big thank you to Robin Thornhill for jurying the awards. Congratulations to all of the award winners!!
