One of our favorite things to do is take something you already love and make it the focal point.
An antique door. A grandmother's sideboard. A rug you've had for twenty years.
Good design doesn't mean starting over. It means knowing what to keep, what to build around it, and what to let go.
We call it old things in new houses — and it's one of our favorite parts of the process.

We're Kammy and Todd — the husband and wife team behind Kenman Design Group here in Laurel, Mississippi.
I'm an interior designer with years of whole-home remodels under my belt. Todd is our licensed general contractor. Together, we handle design and construction under one roof — which means fewer headaches and a smoother process for you.
We moved to Laurel because we fell in love with it — the history, the homes, the pace of life. Now we get to do the work we love, right here in the Pine Belt.

Spring is full, and so are our hearts. 🤍

Three projects. Three families. Three stories we are so honored to be part of.

→ A brand new custom home beginning from the ground up — Legacy at the Lake

We walked the land with the family this week. No walls yet. Just possibility, mature trees, and a peaceful lake view. There is something sacred about that moment — standing on the land before a single wall exists, dreaming out loud about what it will become.

And the team we get to build alongside? An architect , whose work is rooted in legacy. A builder, Adam Hodges, who literally came home to Laurel for love of family. Full circle, indeed.
