Million-dollar home. Ordinary gate. One of those has to change. 💧

08/10/2026

They said a waterfall gate would splash everywhere. So we engineered one that doesn't. Would you want this at your front entrance?

Apparently, our custom ladders keep getting installed as luxury waterfall gates, so we’re building another one. Full reveal coming soon.

For centuries, gates have been built to do one thing: control access.

The materials improved. The operators got smarter. The homes changed.

But the gate itself?

For the most part, we’ve just kept redesigning the same idea.

So we decided to put something inside the gate that hasn’t been there before. We put water inside the gate.

Step forward 326 years.

Waterfall Gates by Vegas Gates.

What can we design for you?

There have been some pretty harsh comments about our Waterfall Gates lately. Aside from feeding the algorithm even harder, they just make me push harder to get orders shipped and new models launched.

And this is what that process actually looks like.

Innovation doesn’t always look like innovation while it’s happening. Sometimes it looks like building an idea, testing it, and watching it do exactly what you didn’t want it to do.

This test failed.

But every failed test exposes a problem, eliminates an idea, and gets us closer to the next version.

We’re not trying to build one gate that gets attention online. We’re working to create an entirely new category of architectural gates and water features.

This one didn’t work.

So we change it and try again.

That’s how innovation happens.

Somewhere in Las Vegas, there’s a water feature people pay $5,500 to enjoy.

It isn’t inside a resort or hidden behind the doors of a luxury spa. It’s built directly into the entrance of a home.

We created the Waterfall Gate because we believe security and architecture should work together, not compete with one another. The gate still defines the entrance and controls access, but it also becomes something unexpected, a moving architectural feature that completely changes the way people experience the home.

What started as an idea in Las Vegas has now been seen by millions of people around the world. And after receiving requests from across the country, the Waterfall Gate is now available for nationwide shipping.

Because the entrance to your home shouldn’t look like everyone else’s.

What can we design for you?

POV: your waterfall gate sees you coming.

Water pauses. You walk through dry. It resumes.

What should we try to fool it with next?

22/09/2026

They said our gate wouldn't hold up in the wind. We heard it a lot in the comments on our other videos: "looks great until the wind hits it." So we let the wind do the talking instead. No edits, no calm day trick shots, just our gate doing its thing while the trees behind it are clearly not having a peaceful afternoon. Obviously it has its limits, same as a sprinkler or washing a car, but it handles wind like this just fine. If you've been on the fence about a waterfall gate because of durability concerns, this one's for you. More proof coming, stick around.

Three reasons you shouldn’t buy a waterfall gate, and honestly, this type of gate isn’t meant for everyone.

There are plenty of gates that quietly serve their purpose without ever being noticed. They open, they close, and they look almost identical to every other “custom” gate in the neighborhood.

That isn’t what we’re building.

A Vegas Gates waterfall gate is designed to become part of the architecture and part of the experience of arriving at the property. Water flows inside the structure of the gate, transforming a functional entrance into a moving architectural feature.

These gates are for homeowners, builders, architects, and designers who want something created specifically for the property—not a familiar design pulled from a catalog and resized to fit an opening.

So yes, people are probably going to stop and ask about your gate. Your “custom” gate won’t look just like your neighbor’s. And you may be the only home in your neighborhood with water flowing through its entrance.

If none of that sounds like a problem, we should probably talk.

Vegas Gates designs and fabricates custom pedestrian and driveway waterfall gates. We work locally in Las Vegas and ship nationwide. Send us a DM with a photo of your opening, approximate measurements, and your location to start the conversation.

Sometimes being told it’s a bad idea is exactly the push you need.

What started as one waterfall-gate concept became Vegas Gates. Now we’re designing, building, and shipping custom gates nationwide.
